Hey there! My name is Christian. I'm a husband of 25 years and a father to three bigger Star Wars nerds than I ever was. I exercise at park playgrounds (maybe you've seen me), cut my own hair, eat way too much peanut butter, would definitely consider vacationing in Fraggle Rock, if possible, and I grew up in Texas but don't say "y'all." I enjoy hiking, witnessing sunsets and...I like to take pictures.

I especially like taking pictures that capture honest moments – moments that reveal true emotion, connection between people, simplicity, excitement, the mundane, whatever it is in that moment. These moments tell stories.

Sometimes they can tell an unintended story, which is fun.

Every moment, whether it’s filled with laughter or serenity, tells a story.

My goal as your family photographer is to record your stories, capturing moments you can treasure for years to come.

It’s amazing to see the passage of time through portraits. Whether your kids are in college or still toddlers, I’m sure you’ve noticed how fast they seem to change. One day you see them like this…

...and realize that it wasn’t so long ago they were like this…

While the purpose of our portrait session appears to simply be taking pictures, I see it as intentionally building  memories. My goal is to capture who your family is in that moment, recording the connection that you have with each other, in a relaxed setting where you guys can just focus on enjoying hanging out together.

What is a family? Oh, what is a family? - a museum of memories.

“What do you do? You’re just a housewife and slave, aren’t you? A nursemaid to a bunch of kids?” - “No, I have a fantastic job, a terrific career. I am a curator in a museum – a museum of memories!”
